Bloodstained - Nintendo Switch

I'm not going to bother covering the game as you can find reviews of it elsewhere. If you like Castlevania you will enjoy this game. That's all there is to it. This will cover the cartridge edition as there are certain things you need to know about it. When bloodstained first came out it was in a pretty rough state on the switch. The had alot of bugs and the framerate was pretty awful. However these issues were largely solved with a few patches. The version of bloodstained that's running on this cartridge is old. It WILL have these issues and some areas will not be very playable. If you have no ability to patch the cartridge then do not bother getting it in a physical form. If you are getting this for a child then patch it before hand. It will save you a lot of grief. Without patching you will have a bad time with it and the experience is more than that. Other than that the game is great and worth playing. It still gets the occasional framerate dips here and there but they aren't really noticable I feel and it's way better than what it was like when it first came out. It's come a very long way. It's worth the pickup IF you can patch it.

This game is just awesome. It is 100% a spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and totally scratches my itch to play an modern, updated "version" of the game. The Switch version runs at 720p and 30 FPS. Now it has crashed on me about 3 times so far (in about 20 hours of play so far) and the frame rate does stutter every once in a while. But you cannot beat the fact that this is pretty much the only way to play it on the go (unless you can stomach the iOS version or wait for Steam Deck). There is no input lag at all. It plays perfectly in handheld or docked mode (make sure to have your TV on "Game" mode!). This is just a fantastic game. I am sure it is better to play on PS4, Xbox, or PC, but if Switch is your only option and/or you want to play handheld, do not let the reviews about the Switch version scare you away at all. The major issues have definitely been fixed, and this game is simply fantastic and must play. Enjoy!

First I have this on PC and I got it again on the Switch since it was so good - and that's the big thing to know, this is a 5 star game without question.As for the port there's a ton of worthless bad reviews because it's the popular thing to do. Input lag is not a real issue with this port, again it's just dopes getting on the social media lynch bandwagon. What is a real issue is the framerate, which gets pretty bad as the game goes along. It really doesn't affect the gameplay that much, but they really need to fix it in an update. As for the resolution - who cares. You're playing on a 4-year old mobile phone chipset, if you think it's going to look as good as a PC with an RTX 2080, then again, you're a dope. The graphics don't look as good as my $3000 gaming PC, but it doesn't detract from the game in any serious way.The music in the game is exceptional, and seems to be OK on the Switch, although I haven't played with headphones - so it's possible with headphones it might be overly compressed, but it doesn't seem like it.Overall I hope this game gets a patch that address the framerate, I don't care if they need to reduce the resolution even further to make that happen. As for the 1-star reviews, they're fake news, brought to you by children who just copy and paste what other people say.

This game is a favorite in my family this was gotten as a Christmas gift for my son; who after seeing me play it for hours wanted to give it a try. Very happy that this Igarashi Castlevania like game is out there on newer platforms for enjoyment.

É basicamente um cópia completa de castlevania symphony of the night, e não digo isso porque é um metroidvania, mas porque foi produzido pela mesma pessoa Koji Igarashi, que usou todo seu known how para fazer este belíssimo jogo. Recomendo!

日本の本体でも問題なく動きます。日本語もボイスと共に収録されています。ゲーム内容はまんまキャッスルバニアで面白いです。武器種が豊富なのも良いです。敵の能力を吸収したりとシャノアさんを思い出します。難易度は高めです。残念なのがスイッチなのでデモシーンの解像度の低さは否めません。音楽も良いです。グラフィックスを求めるならばパソコン版でしょう。面白さは変わりません。
