No protection for camera lenses.
This is a good phone case but has a major flaw. It doesn’t protect the 3 lenses on the iPhone 12 pro max. Good drop protection and slim case, but I’m giving it 2 stars for the single reason that it offers absolutely zero protection to the back camera lenses. There is no raised lip to keep it off surfaces when you set the phone down. Very disappointed in this case. Can’t believe it was $40.

Search for a wallet case to replace my beloved Apple wallet case on my old iPhone X
As much as it pained me to buy the expensive Apple iPhone X wallet case back in the day, it was by far the slimmest and best made option at the time. So I'm searching for the equivalent for the iPhone 12 as Apple don't make those anymore. This fits the bill - slim, well made, and unlike some others I tried, Qi charging works through the case. My only nit is that the back of the case isn't leather like the front. A minor quibble.

Awesome case for iPhone 12 Pro, with easy to press power button!
I have this case for my iPhone X, and it was my absolute favorite, out of many. I immediately tried to get the same brand for my 12 Pro, but they didn’t launch right away. I ended up trying many others, some I loved, some not so much. When I finally saw they were making a case for the 12 series, I grabbed it right away. The differences are not that big a deal, but are worth noting. The Casemate for the X series was genuine leather, front to back. This case has a non leather back, but it is still a decent quality back. It might actually work a little better for wireless charging, although I don’t use wireless as my primary charger, but I did test it, and it works fine. The only other difference was the X series had a magnetic flap, that wrapped around to the front. This is a another feature that may make a difference for some people, but I use the case with the front folded behind the phone, when I put it in a hands free dock, in my car. When I take it out of the dock, I close the case, and put it right in my pocket. The case is designed to be used with the case front folded back behind it, so it doesn’t put any excessive stress on the case itself. The interior is almost identical to the X case, as far as the card slots, with the lowest one being transparent, for a driver’s license, or other ID. The only other interior difference is the left side of the phone, in the crease between the front and back, is left open to toggle the mute button, and volume up, and down, directly on the phone. This doesn’t mean less protection, and it is surprising, as those buttons worked perfectly, on the older case. The most important thing I can mention is the right side power button is enclosed, but operates perfectly. This is one of the major problems with some other cases. They have great features, and functionality, but the power button is too hard to press. This case has a perfect power button, and I can press it easily. This is important, as some other cases require so much pressure, you end up taking an accidental screenshot. I spent the time comparing it with the older Casemate, as I expect many people that loved their prior Casemate, are here looking to see how it compares. If you are new to this brand, you will be very happy with the functionality, and workmanship. Highly recommended case!

Looks okay, and makes the screen not work correctly
The case seems okay from initial impressions. I started having problems with swiping on my screen and clicking. buttons. Turns out there are two issues.1) Unlike the image of the case, it does not sit evenly around the phone and encroaches into the screen area. This causes the sensor to not pick up key presses accurately. Massively frustrating and clearly problematic since it kills the usage of the phone.2) The protective wall around the outside sticks up about 1mm above the face of the screen. This height causes swipes from the bottom of the screen to not work as well as they should. STUPIDLY frustrating. When swiping up multiple attempts are needed and this is usually resolved by pressing super hard. The phone works fine outside of the case. These seem like things they would know from making other cases... this is soooo basic.DO NOT BUY

Doesn’t seem to properly fit my iPhone 12
I had the same type of case for my iPhone X and I lived it. I bought a new one for the iPhone 12. I like that it’s thin, has metallic buttons, and the texture feels good. It doesn’t feel slippery at all. The iPhone 12 version doesn’t fit quite right. The right side doesn’t extend above the face of the phone the same as the left side. It’s as if it’s a tad bit too small. I’ve removed it and reinstalled it a few times changing which side I slide in first. It’s always the same. Hopefully it’s because it was so new and later versions may have this corrected. I need to contact the manufacturer about a warranty replacement. I like the feel of the case so much I’m using it even with the annoying fit.

The best 4-7 card leather wallet phone for the iPhone
This case is amazing. Seriously. It’s extremely thin, but can easily hold 6 cards tightly, as well as the couple bills I have from time to time. The case appears quite durable. All in all a great design, and it was frustrating to have to spend so much time on Amazon looking for something like this. Most cases like this only can hold 2-3 cards and are overly bloated for no reason. Who cares about needing a magnetic lock anyway, it gets in the way and gets destroyed by the pocket over time. I’ve had cases where hotel cards would get demagnetized by it in the past, so I’m much happier having a magnet-free style case like this.

Beautiful case but very slippery on charging dock
This would get a 5/5 if it weren’t for a huge issue with my charging dock. The case itself is beautiful, I’ve had it for a month seems very scratch reistent and is definitely protective. I have the belkin boost charging dock (which I paid $130 for), I have to place the phone extremely carefully on it in order to make it stay put. If I get a text or call (anything with sound or vibration) the phone flies (literally flies) off of the charging dock. I have never had this issue with any other phone case. This case isn’t cheap so it shouldn’t be so slippery and incompatible with other accessories. I wish the back wasn’t so slippery. Beware if you use a charging dock that stands, if not there wouldn’t be any issues with the case.

Disappointed
Disappointed. I bought a leather case mate wallet for my iPhone 6 - years ago and was impressed with the quality so now that I upped to a mini 12 I wanted the same holder. Nope not nearly as nice and more expensive. I won’t send it back because I can’t find another that I like better but I don’t really believe it is worth the price. Also, not that it is important to me, but I don’t get the “stand” bit. Lol every time I try it falls over. Oh well live and learn.

Cute case
I receive lots of compliments on this case! It’s nice and reasonably sturdy - not comparable to life proof or otter box but will protect your phone if it takes a tumble.

Case cracked
I purchased this case in June and recently dropped my phone and the case cracked in two places. This case has lifetime warranty but I cannot find a way to contact the seller to have it honoured. I am not pleased with this case considering it wasn't cheap!!!
