Easy install and clean design
I love Hansgrohe and their products are high quality, well-designed, and engineered. I have bought many faucets and showerheads over the years and have always been 100% satisfied hence my interest in this toilet paper holder. This has nothing to do with the product itself, but I am a little suspicious about the packaging - maybe this was a returned item? Because I can't imagine Hansgrohe would include an instruction manual that is photocopied and stapled (see photo). That aside, the toilet paper holder is very easy to install and simple to put together. I used screws and used the double-sided tape to just hold it in place while I screwed them in. I'm not sure using just the double-sided tape would hold it up for any length of time - they are pretty small. The design is sleek and nice. The only comment I would make, which is not reflective of the product, is that the toilet paper does rest on the wall. I have a feeling that may damage the drywall over time, but if the wall is tile, this wouldn't be an issue.

Looks good, feels cheap
Great design, easy to install, but the plastic feels cheaper that it should at this price.

Looks nice, material seems kind of cheap
I really like the overall look of this toilet paper holder. It's very sleek and modern looking. It can hold my phone on it easily which is nice. When you first take it out of the package, everything is there and they give you extra screws incase you mess up. One thing I found odd was that the directions also had directions for other products that they made which confused me at first. So I would recommend that they get rid of those directions since that's not what you bought. Other than that, the directions are super straight forward. There is also an adhesive on the back of the metal piece. That's what I used and it stuck up on the wall quite nicely! Going to see how long the adhesive lasts, I hope it lasts long. The only thing I don't like is how the material is a bit cheap, it's plastic. But it makes it light weight so that's good. Also the handle where you put the toilet roll in is moveable which is fine, but I personally thought it would stay put. Dragging the toilet paper against the wall is a bit annoying. Overall it ties the bathroom together nicely with the design.Summary:Pros:- Nice looks- Can hold your phone- Easy to assemble and clear directionsCons:- Material seems a bit cheap- Pricey for what it is- The handle swivels down, doesn't stay in place/squeaks

Nice quality, Easy to change rolls
This is very sturdy and made well. Being plastic, one sometimes wonders what is going to show up…but it reminds me of something from a higher end home store. I did first try using the sticky backing to put it on my wall but those only last 3-4 days. So now I have to install using the screws. In my opinion, that’s fair enough. I thought it was a claim somewhere that it could be installed without hardware if preferred…but if you’re banking on that, I would recommend having some heavy duty command strips ready or something. Otherwise it’s a very sturdy and easy-to-use toilet paper dispenser. It’s nice to have the little shelf to sit your phone on, honestly!

Plastic
(Item: hansgrohe WallStoris 9-inch Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf in Matte White, 27928700)Mixed first impressions upon opening it. I have been ordering weighted, chrome bathroom accessories from Kohler. Beautiful when unboxing and beautiful in use. When I opened this, it was a lightweight plastic. My fault for not double-checking. Considering the brand name and the price point, I (incorrectly) assumed it would be a painted metal or ceramic. Rechecking the description, they listed it as vinyl. It does feel like PVC.That aside, I do really like the platform design. It's quite convenient. I also like that it could be screw mounted to the wall (or a vanity). But the cylinder/tube that holds the toilet paper just hangs down. The listing photo made it look fixed. So, the toilet paper is always touching the wall.Overall, the plastic is durable and I like the intention of the piece. It just doesn't deliver that upscale experience. To be as fair as I can, I'll revisit this review after using it for some time. Right now though, this is a hard item to recommend for consideration.

Nice-looking light-weight vinyl TP holder
We were looking for a modern-looking toilet paper holder in plastic for a bathroom at the seashore. From experience, we preferred to avoid metal. This model fit the bill. The design is much nicer than other plastic/vinyl models we considered. It offers the option to either attach it by screws, or use the self-adhesive tape. For now, we have tried the self-adhesive; it appears to have a firm old, but time will tell. The self for a phone or other items is a plus. My only concern is that no one tries to use it as a support to stand up.

Does NOT come with a self adhesive option as listed.
I have a small powder room that needs both a toilet paper holder AND a shelf. Since I live in a very old brick home, this particular bathroom started out as an under the stairs closet and has walls made of plaster over solid brick.Drilling is not a good option.Otherwise, it's packaged well. All other hardware appears to be there. The holder/shelf is very light weight and, honestly, looks and feels very inexpensive.

OK but has it's limits
I guess an all plastic TP holder is fine. At least the finish should not wear off like some of the shiny plated ones. The shelf above is certainly a nice feature. But there is one "con" to this particular style. That is the solid one piece mount. Because of this - you pretty much have to have a flush (flat) mounting surface to attach this to. One of our vanities has a beaded trim (wooden frame trim) on the side so in order to mount it there, it would have to be set back several inches on the side (or I'd have to cut a notch in the trim to mount it in a more suitable location on the side). That's not going to happen. But I will still be able to use this holder on a paneled wall in our 1/2 bath powder room. In that location - it will be no problem to do a flush mount.
