Brilliant bit of kit!
The light bar fits my Asus 27 inch monitor perfectly and has allowed me to stop using several other desk and floor lamps to try and get the right lighting for photo editing. The lamp has plenty of adjustment options inc intensity and colour temperature. It’s early days but I’m pleased with my purchase and yes it is one of the pricier options available. However when I consider what I’ve spent on camera kit, laptop and monitor, it’s a relatively small expenditure for a bit of kit that seems to perform really well.

Works as advertised, but is not straight
Functions aside, my light bar doesn't sit straight on my monitor as the part where the bar attaches to the mount has an uneven gap. That makes the bar sit at a very slight angle that gets much more noticeable the further away it is from mount. As a result, when sat on top of my monitor, it's higher on one side than the other in comparison to the monitor and that's very visually distracting. I fixed this temporarily by putting some paper underneath the mount, but I was hoping it would be manufactured better than this for the price and I am still thinking of returning it.

Desk must have
My desk is in a really dark corner and I tried several lights/lamps and none of them were quite right. Why didn’t I look at these before? It is absolutely amazing, love the colour temperature and brightness controls and the best bit is the motion sensor that switches the light off when you walk alway from the desk. Genius. It sits perfectly on top of my Apple Studio display, and plenty of light for when I work at home - lights up the whole desk area (Ikea Micke corner desk) and makes it easy to read my notepads etc.

Great keyboard illumination
I have the light bar on my Apple Studio Display and it works very well. The keyboard illumination is great and the proximity sensor works as expected. I am very happy with the Benq ScreenBar Pro and would buy it again.

Good idea but subpar execution
Was good quality, but too heavy and too much money. I'd say value for money is lacking slightly. However its easy to use. The functions are rather gimmicky however and dont often work well.

Lights up the entire desk
I bought two for myself and my husband. The lamp is well designed and lights up the entire desk when the room is dim. Perfect for scholars who spend long hours at their desks!
