Loud and clear

The media could not be loaded. These headphones are very nice made for the dj headphones. The build quality of these headphones is really good. You have soft cups with good padding and when sitting on my ears they are really comfortable. There is only a small amount of padding on the headband but that did not bother me to much and I kept in mind that these headphones are made for dj work. I really like the fact that you can do single side monitoring with them. The clamping force of the headband on the headphones is firm and made for shaking your head. I did a headbanging test and could hardly get these to move. Soundwise these headphones are very aggressive, the sound is loud and very good for the headphones intended use. I did not get a big soundstage from these headphones but you get clear fun aggressive sound and I think they are the perfect dj headphones.

I got these headphones on a whim. I have a bunch of wireless earbuds, but nothing substantial to use in wired mode. These headphones are decent, but I find it hard to justify the $150+ price tag. The sound quality is good, but not super precise. As others have mentioned, the profile is bass-heavy, which is good for some music, probably best for hard thumping stuff like techno. The ear cups are not the kind that fully cover your ear - they rest on top, which can lead to some discomfort during extended use. The fit is pretty tight, so at least you don't have to worry about them falling off.

So I've just started learning how to use a DJ controller and I've just been using some normal over the ear headphones to practice with. These are way better, you don't want an over the ear headphone, you want on the ear ones like these which will help you better hear what you're mixing. The head band adjust is very smooth and secure when going through sizes/clicks which is expected from any high end headphones. Same goes for the swiveling with the ear pieces, smooth and secure and gives a lot of adjustments when moving the ear pieces on and off. The swiveling also helps compact these tight for when you're traveling. Despite being on the ear, they are still comfortable to have on for long periods of time. These are designed for DJing, the build quality is what makes these attractable and shouldn't fail you while you use them.

I love the sound quality, and I love the long cord, but these things literally cause me pain they are so uncomfortable. I have a normal shaped head (maybe on the small side?) and these are so tight, regardless of how I try to adjust them. Very hard to get comfy on my head, and once I take them off, my head and ears hurt. It's kinda baffling to me. I don't really understand how something like this doesn't get caught in testing. I will use these, but only for short periods, which is a shame, since I do love the sound..

The TECHNICS brand by Panasonic is a well know label known by many in the music business. It is known for quality, value, and durability. While other brands may cost less, they don't offer the jam packed features this particular model EAH-DJ1200 offers. I like the overall look of these headphones. They simply look sharp in a clean crisp black color. The build is excellent as you would expect from a brand that has been around for decades. Sound is sharp and clear is what you need when to hear track 2 when track 1 is still playing. The ear cups are smaller compared to other brands, and are not designed for long time listening. I found no distortion when playing the music loud. Sound isolation was good giving credit to the smaller ear cups making for a tighter fit. I like how the ear cups swivel to any direction and are able to be locked once you find the ideal setting.This is a multi-functional headphone serving the DJ industry. The extra long coiled cord is a lus giving you room to move around the DJ booth. The cable is detachable which is a nice added feature. You get a very nice looking storage pouch to store the headset after use. Sound quality is excellent. The comfort factor is crucial for long sets. I like the black storage pouch. There are many features on these headphones to give you the exact fit you want. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The headset comes with its own cords, pouch, and clear instructions to optimize your preferences. You also get two different audio cords, standard and mini jacks too!I like how they fit over my head and can be adjusted for a perfect comfortable fit. I don't see any negatives to this product, and for the price point, they worked just perfect! This value added purchase is a best buy and I personally recommend them.
