Great GPU for the newer gen
With how hard it can be at times getting new gpus on the market this is a great pick up. Works as described with the numbers they provide and no issues with installing drivers and setup. No coil wine or anything of sort, Asus always seems to deliver high quality gpus and are a standard of the market.

This is the review for the Asus RTX 5070 Prime bought at $610 (because Amazon/Asus bunch up all the other models in one page to boost stars). I'm coming from an RTX 2070 so any 50 series card is fine for me. Great card IF you don't mind not going over 12GB. Some say drivers are bad but no issues on my end. I NEED Nvidia's CUDA and fit my budget of around $600 that's why I choose this card instead of AMD. I would buy an AMD card but as of writing this review, AMD still has yet to come out with an answer to CUDA and the MSRP of 9070XT suppose to be $600 but is around $850 right now. At this point, just go for the 5070 TI for around $900 which has CUDA and 16GB. I WISH I can get a 5070 TI for $750 MSRP but its not likely still in the world's economics. Why I choose this ASUS Prime card vs others?: 3 weeks before the purchase, I ordered the cheapest 5070 Gigabyte model but with the news of it having issues with the thermal pad/gel they used, it put me off. Also it would come in June when bought back in May 16. Also this ASUS Prime was selling for around $700 but then they lowered it to $610 which is around the Gigabyte model in $ but better. So I canceled the Gigabyte one and got this. Why choose a 5070 instead of +/-1 tier?: Again, money. My budget is around $600. If the card is MSRP $550 and plus $50 for an AIB card, I'd say thats ok if you really want it. Next tier might be GREAT at $750 MSRP, but at $900 in reality, no thanks. Below is the 5060TI 16GB which is suppose to be $429 MSRP vs reality of ~$490, also worst performance vs 5070 (besides the 16 vs 12GB future proofing).Size wise: its a large card. Coming from the 2000s series where 2 slot card and shorter~ish cards were the norm, this is a giant compare to it. I can't fit this in my other alt, old ITX case when I want to hand-me-down this card to the old ITX build, even though its "Nvidia SFF-ready", it is still not a strictly 2 slot and is long.Performance wise: just go look at the charts and video on Youtube. This average Joe's Amazon review isn't gonna cut it.4stars, If you want it, you get it. If you can wait, you wait. If you hate Nvidia's BS marketing of 5070>4090, join the club. If you the 'feel' the planned obsolescence of 5070 having only 12GB, its true and my review isn't going to change that for you. WAIT IT OUT IF YOU CAN...I can'tTL;DR its great if it was $550 MSRP and don't go over the 12GB, but with the world's economy, this card is just ~ok. I'd rather have a card in hand vs wait another 6months for same ~$600 price (lol, do you REALLY think Nvidia cards go on sale? NO) that I can enjoy TODAY.
