Fast and secure
Works well. very fast storage. The Pro version is worth the price for the speed and security you get over the EVO model. Both are great.

Fast, reliable, 8TB version to be released later in 2025
First, this is a PCIe 5.0 x4, not PCIe 4.0. It will work fine on PCIe3.0 and PCIe4.0, but you may want to consider a cheaper version if you don’t have a newer system as you will likely be somewhat limited - if not due to the link speed, then due to the power of your CPU, which is likely to be slower on PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 systems. Should you get this or stick to Samsung 9xx Pro? Depends how important money is to youNote that Samsung states that an 8TB version will be released later in 2025. Some may want to wait for that depending on their use

I am a believer
This thing is amazingly fast. We know it. I put it into a Strix Scar and it's running cooler without the heat sink than the boot drive with it having a heat sink. The only thing I wish is that they'd go back to multiples of 1024 to determine disk capacity instead of straight up 2000 equally two terabytes. It's not two terabytes as *I* think of a terabyte. I could have gone for a cheaper option, but Samsung drives have never gone bad on me and I know that it will last. It's worth the money for me.

Fast with room to spare.
Running this in my Ryzen 9950X3D/MSI RTX 5090 system. Hitting the advertised speeds which are blazing fast. Expensive but if you need this kind of speed, worth the price.

Excellent SSD - Worth the upgrade
Definitely worth the upgrade and can notice significant differences between this and my Acer Gen 4 in both content creation, gaming and load speeds. Temps are fantastic at ~33 degrees with my mobo’s heatsink. I have the Rog Strix X870E-E

The speeds
You need to have an updated PC to stop most overheating other than that It's a really great item.Speeds are really fast but my computer is not really up-to-date, to really process it. so it can overheat quite a bit if I was to use it, was kinda disappointing because the speeds are totally amazing on this thing. Well, worth of money, highly recommended to buy. If you got the right PC

Good, but not the best gen 5 ssd
I have two Crucial T705 drives, and now this Samsung 9100. I'm running Fedora 42, and while the Samsung gets the same crazy fast read speeds as the T705, it gets only roughly half the speed on sequential write (using kdiskmark). This is somewhat disappointing, although I don't really notice the difference even in large builds.Pros:These drives are in stock in 4TB size, while the T705 is still scarce.Great read speed in a gen 5 slot. It's Samsung.Cons:Slower on writes than the T705.

Now This Is Fast!!
Bought this to install as the Windows system drive in a new Z890 with Intel Ultra 9 285K cpu. Works perfectly and Windows 11 does load fast!
