The Rolls-Royce of traps
Before buying this McAlpine product I read somewhere that they are “the Rolls-Royce” of traps. I can confirm that this is very true.Bottle trap A10AV-SV in particular is an amazing product! I stopped hearing the gurgling noise coming out of the pipes, although I had confirmed that there was no blockage at least in the first 3.5 meters (the length of my cable-camera).Also the product appears to be well-made with high-quality materials.Finally, it was plug-and-play. No mods were required.Only McAlpine going forward!!!

Replaced an existing trap on a sink that was leaking. UK Based.
Nothing to like or dislike. It works and doesn't leak and it fits UK pipes.

Worth spending a bit more...
Was using a compact version and was getting a lot of blockages and slime mould. With this item water flushes away much faster so is cleaner and quieter.

The anti-syphon feature cured the problems
I like to buy McAlpine plumbing parts as they are always high quality and this is no different. I swapped out a normal bottle trap for an anti-syphon one as my bathroom basin was gurgling and running slowly. It was easy to fit and solved the problem
