A bit expensive but much better than cheaper after market versions.
I own an SX60. I always like to have an extra battery handy and I found the cheap after market ones I purchased worked "OK" but not great or as good as original OEM. Their charge did not last as long, and after a year or two they began to fade. My research told me the original OEM version was no longer available but I kept it in my saved list just in case. But, then, suddenly Amazon listed them. I ordered (had to wait a while for shipping) but after a few weeks it arrived. It looks, charges, and acts just like my old OEM. Make sure you are ordering this directly from Amazon and not a 3rd party to insure you get a fresh OEM.

It pays to get OEM
Ordered a cheaper Chineseium knock off, It didn't last but a year. I have the Original (20140 and it's still going.

Yes, Buy It!
I am one of the many reviewers who tried to save money by buying other brands. The batteries didn't last long, and I found myself making extra sure I had two or three charged batteries with me whenever I took my camera. My most recent attempt with another battery resulted in a battery that wouldn't allow me to take even 50 pictures. So I buckled under and bought this Canon. I am realizing that I never think about the battery anymore. Yesterday I noticed the battery was half-charged. I'd used it for weeks. I realized I only take the battery in the camera with me, I never need spares. I was perhaps saving money before, but I was exerting a lot of mental energy to keep my camera working. I guess what I'm saying is I've stopped thinking about my camera battery, and that's a good thing.

Seems fine
I spent the extra money and bought the original. The Knick offs were always a loosing proposition. But this battery seems as good as the original. Haven’t had it very long… so hoping it lasts a goodly amount of time.

Sometimes the "name" is worth paying for.
Needing a backup to the battery that came with my Canon SX50, I first tried a highly-rated off-brand because it was less than half what this one cost, but still had high marks on Amazon. That battery never worked right and was fairly quickly junked. Having learned my lesson, I picked this one up and haven't looked back. It has done exactly what it's supposed to: hold it's charge between uses and give a pretty solid showing per charge. If this is the battery shown in your instruction booklet, don't get cute. Just pick it up and spend your time worrying about the quality of your shots, and not about whether or not your camera will turn on when you need it.

Canon Battery Pack NB-10L (Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery)
Battery arrived pre-charged and is working in my camera. I am disappointed that there was no dust cap included with the battery, (as shown in the photo), which is an important part for the battery. Other than the missing part, all else was fine, shipping time, packaging, etc.I will give it some use to see how long the battery lasts, than I will add a follow up review.

Buy it, charge it and your camera battery is not a problem anymore
I was skeptic. Like, why pay that much? I already had 2 non genuine before. However I took the chance. It has been weeks I purchased it, and I am still on the same first charge. The non genuine ones never lasted this way. I had two because after a few days i always had to swap to continue using. Just buy this one, if you have the money.

Good battery life
The battery life is good; it lasts through many pictures and even in the cold weather.I only rated at 4 for longevity because I don't have them that long. And I rated it four for value for the money because I thought they were a little pricey, but if they last me then It will be worth it.
