Absolutely worth the money!
If you are looking for a battery for your Canon EOS 600D, 650D and/or 700D (Rebel T5i), but are quite unsure if this is the page to order them, this is, in fact, the best place to buy extra batteries for your camera! It is a fantastic deal from Duracell for my DSLR. I was looking everywhere for extra batteries for my Canon EOS 700D, but the official Canon LP-E8 costed too much for me. But with Duracell, a successful company who makes fantastic and powerful batteries that last for a long time, that makes batteries for DSLR cameras, twice as cheap as the official Canon battery, but as good as the official Canon battery, it is a fantastic deal! I bought two extra batteries and they work perfectly. It is great deal for me, as I am a Higher Education student on my 2nd year for my Foundation Degree in Science in Media Production, where a lot of filming is required. My only con to this is they do not come along with battery case. But that does not bother me one single bit. It would be nice to have a case with a battery, but it really is nothing to be bothered about.

Excellent replacement
I wanted a couple of spare batteries for my canon eos 600d camera. These being a excellent name, will last for good while for an old camera.

Great back=up battery
I bought this as a back-up for my canon battery. I did see a few negative reviews about how long the battery lasted, but no-one said how long it lasted or how long they had expected it to last.I went on holiday recently and used my camera a lot. I kept this with me as back-up and eventually had to use it. It lasted the remainder of the holiday (probably approx. 6 hours of actual 'on' use over 3 days) and is still in there now, although admittedly I have only used the camera sporadically since.Unless you are a professional photographer who possibly needs more than that, I think this is a perfectly suitable back-up at a good price.

87 min of HD video captured + battery correctly reported power status.
As someone who uses the Canon EOS lineup of cameras/lenses for video work - batteries really are the pain in the backside when it comes to finding something genuine and working. I started off using third party batteries on my 600D (... i just didn't have the money to spend on canon batts at the time) and finding that nearly all of them either gave around 20 min of capture time and didn't report battery status (sometimes stopping midway through a clip recording, rendering the entire clip unusable as it wasn't confirmed on the SD card) these Duracell versions are a gem..Did a controlled test earlier, charged the batt to 100% on the hahnel pro cub charger - recorded just over 87min of HD video without any issues and the icing on the cake was the battery reported power status and shut down the camera safely when it had no more power left (the last clip being recorded was on the SD card!! :-D )As someone who now has a mountain of genuine canon batts for all his other cameras, i wouldn't hesistate recommending these ones to other video guys using the 600D, 550D etc if you are considering purchasing these.**** UPDATE **** 30/05/2014Have used these at a couple of live events (Weddings) without any issues, batteries correctly indicate power levels and shutdown the camera safely (without dataloss) if a recording is in progress and the power tops out.... i'm really pleased with these ones and have purchased a few more, they last approx 90 min on contineous recording, 4 of these will get you through a full day.

Great product, Great Price and it goes on and on and on.
I am always amazed that we spend significant amounts of money on cameras and then purchase cheap expendables and peripherals. In this instance, I declined to pay the premium price for a Canon badged product, which I have to say has stood me in good stead as the original battery with my 550d and opted to buy the Duracell product instead; Duracell I believe are a premium supplier. It is very good and I have had no issues with it at all. It arrived, I gave it a charge and then took 256 pictures with the loss of only one power bar on my screen.I suppose time will tell how good it is. The original Canon battery which I possess has been charged hundreds of times, with no significant loss of performance, but I felt that it was time to ensure that I had a backup with me when I go out for the day.No issues, great product and a great price.

Good
Nice battery, I was a bit scared because I used to have the original batteries for my canon for a long time, and I wasn't sure if this one was going to work. Highly recommend, I was recording for more than 4h without changing batteries.

Valued brand name and value for money
I bought this battery as a spare to augment the Canon original battery that came with the camera. Canon original batteries are rather expensive. After reading other reviews on the performance and much lower price of the Duracell battery, it was a no brainer to make the decision to purchase this battery. My only gripe is that the seller MyMemory who happens to be in Switzerland, it took nearly a week for the battery to arrive. Having said that the P&P was good and the battery arrived in good condition. If you want the same battery much quicker, it may be worthwhile to get it from Currys with the option of picking it up within an hour from one of the local stores. I have not done this and cannot vouch for the advertised claims. The Duracell Battery was charged as instructed and tested for initial performance and it worked just as Canon original. To check the performance over a longer period, it will take some months but I believe Duracell is a good brand name and should not have any problems. This remains to be seen.
